SLT traces it roots to the Salt Lake Transfer Co. founded in the mid 1800’s. Our 120+ year history of high security services is unmatched. SLT’s transport of hazardous and high security shipments for commercial and governmental agencies spans three centuries. Quite literally the predecessor to this company began
operations using horses and wagons. SLT was one of the first companies “grandfathered” to transport explosives and weapons systems for the military in the 1930’s at the time of the original formation of the Interstate Commerce Commission. There is no company in
the country that can match our historical commitment. That tradition of superb commitment to secured shipments
continues today. SLT’s Current Managers, Owners and Management staff have collectively over 150 years of experience (dating back to the 1960’s) managing some of the largest and most successful heavy haul, flatbed and van carriers in the United States. These companies include FB
Truck Line Company, Eagle FB Motor Lines, TRISM, PST Heavy Haul and PST Vans.

carriers in revenue and load-count from the U.S. Department of Defense Facilities. We are also one of the top truck carriers in the HAZMAT/ HAZWASTE arena. We have risen to this level because of our superior customer service while offering some of the most competitive rates in the industry. SLT has consistently saved our customers money. We are currently broadening our secured customer base to include commercial explosives manufacturers, and the U.S. Department of Energy.
